Overview

To compliment our turning department and allow us to produce parts with higher accuracy we use a DedTru Fixture in conjunction with a surface grinder which creates a unique centreless grinding system which grinds straight and round parts for thru-feed applications.

The DedTru is ideal for plunge grinding parts which need to be concentric from one diameter to another. DedTru Fixtures also perform infeed operations which require extremely precise roundness.

Rigid part support insures consistent concentricity up to 0.0012mm. Round and cylindrical parts from 0.127mm to 127mm can be ground by thru-feed operation including steps, forms, tapers, chamfers and other external secondary operations.
